Visit Sunshine Coast (VSC) is leading the development of the Sunshine Coast Destination Tourism Plan 2027–2032. VSC has engaged destination planning specialists Urban Enterprises to deliver the project.
They now are inviting you to have your say as they develop the Sunshine Coast Destination Tourism Plan 2027–2032 — a shared roadmap that will guide tourism development, investment and collaboration across the Sunshine Coast, Noosa and Gympie regions over the next five years.
Your experience, ideas and insights will help identify the opportunities, challenges and priorities that will shape the future of tourism in our region.
The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete and covers topics including:
- The Sunshine Coast’s greatest tourism strengths, opportunities and challenges facing the visitor economy
- Ideas for new experiences, infrastructure and destination development
- How we can maximise the opportunities leading into Brisbane 2032
- Your priorities for the future of tourism across the region.
The DTP will be aligned with Queensland’s Destination 2045 vision for a regenerative, sustainable and high-value visitor economy.
It will also be informed by relevant state, regional and local strategies. By aligning with existing planning frameworks, the DTP will help strengthen collaboration, identify shared priorities and support future advocacy, investment and funding opportunities across the region.
Whether you have a new idea, want to highlight a challenge, or simply share your perspective on where tourism should head next, we’d love to hear from you.
