The Caloundra Chamber of Commerce is a modern, active organisation driving economic growth, community connection, and regional advocacy.
We are more than a traditional Chamber, we create opportunities, activate the local economy and ensure Caloundra has a powerful voice at every level of government.
Over more than a decade, we have grown into one of Queensland’s most active regional Chambers, with over 300 members, a professional employed team, and a direct role in generating over $20 million in annual economic activity for the Caloundra region.
The Caloundra Street Fair
Every Sunday in Bulcock Street, the Caloundra Street Fair is the heartbeat of our local economy. With 120–130 stallholders each week, it supports over 200 local jobs and generates a minimum of $20 million in annual economic activity. More than 50 local retailers trade alongside the market each Sunday, with many reporting it as their strongest trading day of the week.
Events & Community Activation
Beyond the Street Fair, we deliver monthly Twilight Markets and major community events throughout the year, bringing thousands of visitors into the CBD, supporting small businesses, creatives, and food operators, and strengthening Caloundra’s reputation as a vibrant destination.
Advocacy & Investment
We work closely with local, state, and federal government to advocate for infrastructure, funding, and the long-term growth of the Caloundra region; including roads, cycleways, the development of Bulcock Street, and the growth of Aura. We are also investing in modern digital platforms and CRM systems to ensure local businesses are visible and competitive in an AI-driven world.

Dan brings more than 15 years of strategic business development and commercial leadership experience across retail, FMCG and customer-driven industries. With a strong foundation in retail operations and national account management, Dan has delivered significant growth across major networks including Dan Murphy’s, BWS, Coles Liquor, Endeavour Drinks Group and independent trade channels. Many will know Dan as the early face of Sunshine & Sons, where he helped lay the commercial foundations for the brand’s long-term success.

An accomplished leader with a deep commitment to the Sunshine Coast, has been at the helm of the Caloundra Chamber of Commerce for over a decade. Under his leadership, the Chamber has grown into one of the largest and most successful in Queensland, recently surpassing 400 members. Mike is dedicated to fostering connections, driving business growth, and promoting sustainable community development. She has extensive experience in family law and is an accredited Mediator and Accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, with a strong professional focus on negotiation, dispute resolution and governance.

HeliMods was founded in 2002 by Australian entrepreneur, Will Shrapnel – a qualified engineer, pilot, aircraft technician and businessman. What started as a one-man operation has grown to now become a leading enterprise, with world-renowned, vertically-integrated capability in advanced digital design, engineering, manufacturing, certification, integration and support of aircraft mission systems. HeliMods remains founder-owned and led, supported by a growing team of over 80 internationally experienced engineers, designers, technicians and technologists working in a high-performance culture that encourages agility and innovation.

Having moved to Queensland in April, my first community interaction was with the Caloundra Chamber of Commerce.
Keely’s passion for supporting small businesses stems from her upbringing in a family-owned business. Her extensive experience in leadership roles at Kinetic and Aldi, coupled with her dedication to people management, positions her as a valuable asset to the Chamber. An advocate for youth representation, Keely aims to bridge the gap between the Chamber and younger community members, work on initiatives such as networking events and mentorship programs, and support digital innovation for local businesses. Clive Pickering joined the Chamber Committee in 2025, just a year after moving to Caloundra from Perth with his wife Debbie. Together, they manage and caretake Pumicestone Blue, where they have created a warm “vertical village” environment for residents and guests while showcasing Caloundra’s unique coastal lifestyle. Clive and Debbie are passionate about keeping the building at a high standard and ensuring that everyone who visits leaves with a great impression of the town.
With a background in hospitality and sales, Clive’s true passion lies in mentoring and supporting others. He knows it can sometimes feel lonely in business, with too many conversations focused on selling rather than sharing, and he values being the person people can turn to for encouragement, advice, or just a listening ear. Excited by the enormous potential Caloundra still holds, Clive is looking forward to helping local businesses grow and thrive while giving back to the community that has made him and Debbie feel so welcome.
