Love markets? Want to be part of what makes Caloundra’s community events tick? We’re looking for enthusiastic casual staff to join the Caloundra Markets team.

About the Role

As a Markets Casual Staff Member, you’ll be hands-on at some of the Sunshine Coast’s most-loved community events — including the Caloundra Street Fair, Twilight Markets (Caloundra, Currimundi, and Aura), the Aura Farmers Market, and pop-up events throughout the year.

No two days look the same. You’ll work across the full event lifecycle: setup, operations, and pack down — making sure each market runs smoothly, safely, and delivers a great experience for vendors and visitors alike.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll assist with end-to-end event coordination, from bump in and bump out through to onsite logistics, signage, power, traffic management, and waste control. You’ll also be a direct point of contact for stallholders, suppliers, and community partners, so a friendly, professional approach is a must.

What We’re Looking For

A current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one), RSA Certificate (or willingness to obtain one), a current driver’s licence (preferred), availability on weekends and evenings for 1–2 shifts per week, and physical fitness for outdoor event work including lifting, carrying, and setting up equipment.

Who You’ll Work With

You’ll report to our Commercial Manager and work closely with the Markets Manager, stallholders, and the broader Caloundra business community.
