The Caloundra Chamber of Commerce welcomes Councillor Terry Landsberg, Sunshine Coast Council Division 2, as guest speaker at this month’s Coffee in Caloundra event.

Now in his second term as councillor, Terry continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the region’s economic future. As Co‑Portfolio Councillor for the Resilient Economy Portfolio, he works across Economic Development, Local Business and Industry Development, Investment Attraction, Innovation, Tourism and Major Events for the entire Sunshine Coast. With more than 20 years’ experience as a local small business owner, Terry brings a practical, community-focused lens to every project he champions.

Terry will provide insights into the ongoing transformation of Caloundra City Square and the revitalisation of Bulcock Street—two major steps in progressing Caloundra’s vision as a vibrant, connected and thriving city centre. As Chair of the Caloundra Downtown Taskforce, he is deeply involved in driving these projects to enhance local business activity, pedestrian amenity and overall economic resilience.

Beyond his division, Terry has represented the Sunshine Coast on the international stage, including speaking on digital economy and sustainability at the Intelligent Community Forum in New York and representing Council at the Smart Cities Conference in Kuala Lumpur. He also serves on multiple Council committees, is a Director of the Sunshine Coast Events Centre, and leads the Division 2 Community Committee.
